Located in Maine, the most rural state in the country, Colby College is well-positioned to deepen its commitment to talented rural students and those first in their families to attend college. With the launch of the Small Town and Rural Students (STARS) Network, Colby will implement a comprehensive, integrated statewide outreach plan aimed at elevating and empowering rural students, families, and educators. In expanding its commitment to Maine, Colby seeks to increase the number of students seeking post-secondary education, adding to the vibrancy of our communities.
