University of Arizona

Our Commitment
As Arizona’s land-grant university, we are driven to do great things. It’s our passion to transform the lives of our Arizona residents and to solve the biggest challenges facing our state and the world. As a Research 1, Hispanic Serving Institution, our mission and values focus on the betterment and support of our students and the communities they come from. U.S. Census figures from 2020 estimate 766,272 Arizonans live in rural communities and 22 federally recognized tribes spread across 15 Arizona counties. The STARS Network’s support will enable Arizona to expand our ability to serve rural students, families, and educators.
